93 - Bob Marley
Number 93 is reggae master, Bob Marley. I only have "Legend", but that album itself lands him on the countdown.
Wiki - Robert Nesta "Bob" Marley (February 6, 1945 – May 11, 1981) was a Jamaican singer-songwriter and musician. He was the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist for the ska, rocksteady and reggae bands The Wailers (1964–1974) and Bob Marley & The Wailers (1974–1981). Marley remains the most widely known and revered performer of reggae music, and is credited for helping spread both Jamaican music and the Rastafari movement to a worldwide audience.
Marley's best known hits include "I Shot the Sheriff", "No Woman, No Cry", "Could You Be Loved", "Stir It Up", "Jamming", "Redemption Song", "One Love" and, together with The Wailers, "Three Little Birds", as well as the posthumous releases "Buffalo Soldier" and "Iron Lion Zion". The compilation album, Legend (1984), released three years after his death, is reggae's best-selling album, being 10 times Platinum (Diamond) in the U.S., and selling 20 million copies worldwide.

94 - AFI
At # 94 is California punk band, AFI. They have great hair.
Wiki - AFI (A Fire Inside) is an American alternative rock band from Ukiah, California, formed in 1991. They have consisted of the same lineup since 1998, lead vocalist Davey Havok, drummer and backup vocalist Adam Carson, with bassist Hunter Burgan and guitarist Jade Puget, who both play keyboard and contribute backup vocals.
Discography -
AFI has released eight studio albums over 18 years as a band, the first being "Answer That and Stay Fashionable" in 1995. The band then went on to release "Very Proud of Ya" the next year, followed up by a third in three years, "Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes". Over the years, AFI has changed its style from the earlier days of hardcore punk, to the horror punk-influenced sound of 1999's "Black Sails in the Sunset" and 2000's "The Art of Drowning". It was not until this, the band's fifth album, that the band first featured on the charts, as The Art of Drowning peaked at #172 on the Billboard 200.
The band had its first major success 12 years after it formed, in 2003, with "Sing the Sorrow" reaching #5 on the Billboard 200. The album was supported by singles "Girl's Not Grey" and "The Leaving Song, Pt. II", both featured in the top 20 of America's Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart in 2003. It went onto receive Platinum certification with over one million units sold in the US.
The band returned in 2006 with "Decemberunderground", which featured the hit single "Miss Murder". Both achieved #1 in their respective charts, the Billboard 200 and Hot Modern Rock Tracks. The album also featured "Love Like Winter", which attained #4 on the Modern Rock charts. It reached as far as Australia, where it grasped Gold certification, and also achieved this in the United States, where it has sold in excess of 900,000 copies. AFI's eighth studio album is titled "Crash Love" and was released on September 29, 2009.

Favorite Lyric -
"She exhales vanilla lace" - Love Like Winter
I haven't heard anything from these guys prior to 2000, though they've released 4 albums before "Art of Drowning". Their polished, mainstream alt-rock sound that they've focused on since 2003 is mainly why they are on this list.

I haven't cared about anything this band has done since "Does This Look Infected?" Didn't hear anything from the last two albums that would make me A. want to get them, B. feel like I'm missing out.
The Hell Song is one of my favorite songs.
All their videos are great.
Favorite Lyric
"Don't know what you really got.
It's hard to stay and not pretend.
Can't make sense in what you thought.
Seems I can't comprehend.
I'm happy to be, only all that you see.
And I'm not one to learn to be the same.
I don't wanna hear you bitch no more.
I was better off a year before.
No matter how I try I can't ignore.
Every time I think my brain gets sore
When I'm with you.
What's so hard about goodbyes?
I'm sorry I'm just not as keen
On planning out our perfect lives
When I'm only 19.
I'm happy to be only all that you see.
And I'm not one to learn to be the same.
I don't wanna try and just be friends
Nothing's gonna change my mind again
If ever there were thoughts I had they're dead.
I can't even think inside my head,
When I'm with you." - Crazy Amanda Bunkface

97 - Bush
At #97 is Bush. Bush is from Britain, but they were way more successful in the United States than in their homeland. Their album Sixteen Stone is their main highlight, as the rest was all downhill from there, minus a few good tracks.
Wiki - Bush was a British alternative rock band formed in London in 1992 by singer/guitarist Gavin Rossdale and guitarist Nigel Pulsford. Their debut album was Sixteen Stone (1994). They have sold well over 10 million records in the United States.

Bush is one of the many bands that I and a lot of other people tend to forget about, but the 5 singles off of Sixteen Stone are all really good and accessible. Machinehead's opening riff is still one of the best in 90's rock.

98 - Rolling Stones
At #98 is the classic rock band, the Rolling Stones. The Rolling Stones have been around since the 1960's and are surprisingly still making music. They're not nearly what they once were.
Wiki - The Rolling Stones are an English rock band, formed in 1962 in London when guitarist and harmonica player Brian Jones and pianist Ian Stewart were joined by vocalist Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards. Bassist Bill Wyman and drummer Charlie Watts completed the early lineup. Stewart, deemed unsuitable as a teen idol, was removed from the official lineup in 1963 but continued as the band's road manager and occasional keyboardist until his death in 1985.
Notable albums -
Beggars Banquet (1968) · Let It Bleed (1969) · Sticky Fingers (1971) · Exile on Main St. (1972) · Goats Head Soup (1973) · It's Only Rock 'n' Roll (1974) ·

Best Lyric -
"Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name, oh yeah
But what's confusing you
Is just the nature of my game, ooh yeah
Just as every cop is a criminal
And all the sinners saints
As heads is tails just call me Lucifer
I'm in need of some restraint
So if you meet me, have some courtesy
Have some sympathy and some taste
Use all your well learned politics
Or I'll lay your soul to waste" - Sympathy for the Devil
And now... jusslissen

100 - Spoon
Favorite Bands
I’ve counted down the top 20 music videos. Now, it is time for something bigger and better. I will now count down the, not 20, 40, 60… but 100 of my favorite musical artists. That is, a blog a day specifically devoted to each band on my top 100 artist list, which took about a week for me to come up with on and off.
NOTE: this is not a matter of talent; merely a list of my personal favorite artists. There are plenty of times where a lower number band is more talented than the band after them.
With that said…

Super Bowl Preview
Should be a game. I'm not going to go into too much detail, because by now, you've probably heard either too much about this game, or none at all if you don't care.
Pressure's On: BOTH QUARTERBACKS. Let's be honest, each will have to out do the other in order to win.
Prediction: COLTS: 38, SAINTS 27. I think it'll be a great game, and I can't wait to see it.
Cheers, everyone
